Brutal Poll Shows That Even Republicans Are Fed Up With Republicans In Congress

Republican voters have an unfavorable view of their party in Congress, according to a new survey from Public Policy Polling.
The poll found that overall, only 24 percent of voters approve of the job congressional Republicans are doing, compared with 67 percent who disapprove. That's down from a 25-68 approval split in May.

And what's really dragging down their approval rating is an unfavorable view from voters in their own party. Only 40 percent of Republican voters approve of their representatives in Congress, compared with 51 percent who disapprove.

Independents also disapprove of Republicans in Congress by a 61-24 split, which helps President Barack Obama maintain a significant, 8-point edge over Republicans on the question of who voters "trust" more.

Once the 20 is rendered OBSOLETE at the voting booths in 2016.

then life can get back to normal in America like it was for 200 plus years with finally the Bush/Paul family 100% repudiate

and it's amazing how 100% spot on I was in calling this so many months ago now (and getting derision from that statement,
and now, it is coming true.

The extremists won't know what hit them come 2016's elections.

To which I can only answer with my concept of one.

Prolly something along the lines of a person dedicated to all people of the world, with a vision for our future that they believe in. And can effectively communicate. A vision of peace and greater good. Maybe even a priority for something other than financial profit.

Transparency, education, economic stability...

Second question silly.

Is a person who is "dedicated to all the people in the world" concerned about Syria? Do you support intervention in Syria?

In your opinion are "true progressives" mostly nation builders or isolationists?

There is nothing silly about my second question, you just don't want to go there, that's all.

Many different people could fill the role. And lead us away from the Plutocracy, and potential police state we've got now.

IMHO "true progressives" aren't strictly one or the other. Do you think leaders to be well advised that are locked into a certain reaction, or behavior in advance?

Second question implies narrow view of the phrase, and perhaps even some sort of "lockstep" with how "we" view "true progressives".

...I'd bet half of those who disapprove are mad because they won't swallow their pride and get shit done....the other half is mad because they aren't fascist ...excuse me..."con servative" enough. Question is, will the disaffected vote Dem to snap the Republicans back into reality?
