Do you think the United States Government, as currently constituted, would murder Snowden?

No, but if someone else did, the US goverment would be blamed. Whisp Jun 2013 #2

but only due to the enormous amount of media coverage given his revelations. As the capo of the BFEE once said, 'wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.'

More likely, he will be "suicided", as the british intelligence agent was.
Obama has already claimed the legal authority to kill citizens deemed to be enemies of the state (by whatever secret "legal" proceedings).

Nope. What he's claimed is bad enough; there's no need to lie about it.

Deniable agents of the US government, as constituted at any time in its history since at least the founding of the National Security State in the 1940s, would murder Snowden. Come on, you think they're not professionals? Keywords: to suicide (v.), to accident (v.), to Wellstone. Related: to rendition and tell no one.

In this case, I think his odds of avoiding it are better than 50-50.

I usually actually do want to see what the poll results are.

But iamgine if you will if every poll or every post came with a button that let you immediately delete it - how long would posts stay up ?

George H.W. Bush would probably have had his buddies in the CIA (Remember, GHWB was head of the CIA before becoming VP) off him before he got big.
