Cristina Torre made the catch of a lifetime on Wednesday, saving a baby who had climbed out of a window and fell off of a fire escape into her arms. Torre, who is the daughter of baseball legend Joe Torre, was sitting in a coffee shop in Brooklyn, N.Y., when someone ran in to tell people to call 911. Torre quickly got up and ran outside to see the 1-year-old on the fire escape between the second and third floors of a building. The baby suffered minor injuries in the fall and is reported to be in stable condition.

Talk about right place at the right time. She certainly saved that baby's life. I know both parents have been charged.

A one year old isn't real heavy, but at that height, it could have made a difference. I'm glad it all worked out good.
