Fox hate mongers Judge Napolitano and Eric Bolling are very close to going the way of Glenn Beck. In a stunning move over the weekend, Fox Business Network cancelled its entire primetime lineup, including shows hosted by Napolitano and Bolling, mainly because the business channel had become a laughable (if its possible) imitation of Fox News. Media watchdogs have long complained that the level of partisan politics on FBN had completely eclipsed actual business reporting.
From Media Matters:
Indeed, at that point it was difficult to differentiate between FBN and FNC. The channels featured the same rotating cast of contributors and hosts, and FBN, though it did report on business news, seemed far more interested in the Fox News routine of tearing down Obama and Democrats. It was not uncommon to turn on the channel and see David Asman or Eric Bolling covering stories not even tangentially connected to business, like conspiracies about President Obamas birth certificate.
The last straw may have been Eric Bollings recent episodes outlining how The Muppets are against capitalism, or Judge Napolitanos blatant pro-Ron Paul endorsement and this recent rant

Dont fool yourself into thinking this move has more to do with ethics in journalism than money. As Brian Stelter at The New York Times explained, FBNs primetime ratings have been anemic, with the channel averaging only 54,000 total viewers each night, which places it in the bottom tier of all cable channels rated by Nielsen.

(12,543 posts)1. Regular Fox viewers don't understand business anyway. So why FBN has lasted this long is
beyond me.

(37,161 posts)2. No mystery, as long as you don't think of it as a business channel...
Same propaganda, slightly different target audience.

and then go out into the world thinking they actually know something about business.

(42,766 posts)4. Because they couldn't find anything good to say about Murdoch & NewsCorp?
They should do what their sister network (Faux Snooze) does ... just make shit up.
