Group Wants Apology From Kobach for Comparing Them to the KKK

Several elected leaders joined in a call on Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach to apologize for comments speaking with national radio host Glenn Beck.

Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau (D-Wichita) and Rep. Ponka-Wee Victors (D-Wichita) made statements in person and in writing, respectively, to support Sunflower Community Action's call for the apology.

The group wants Kobach to apologize for his comments and are calling for Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) to support comprehensive immigration reform.

During Tuesday's interview on the show, Kobach argued that a weekend demonstration outside his home was an example of "KKK type of intimidation."
