My Wife: "Seriously is 2014 going to be 1950 2.0?"

Supreme court said the Voting Rights act is Unconstitutional Texas is yet another state denying woman's right to choose what happens to their bodies.

My wife is cases to see what the court does with the Prop 8 and Doma cases.

Republican policies are having the expected result upon Republican demographics: they're dying, faster than (the Republicans) expected. At the same time they are legally mandating that the social groups to which they are routinely hostile (poor, immigrants, racial minorities, etc.) proliferate in number.

Because Jesus. It's a slow-motion Rapture and Saint Ronnie has already started bringin' 'em home. I give it fifty-fifty that there will never be another Republican-appointed Supreme Court Justice, and Justice Roberts will go down in history as a stay-behind Chief Justice--the only way he will ever deserve comparison to John Marshall.
