I tried to link to them in orange. I am not sure if it worked.
On edit: to let you know they were the red (some say pink) ones.

(16,993 posts)When I first began wearing these shoes I thought my reproductive rights were secure. Turns out, I couldn't have been more wrong.

(25,958 posts)is probably working on an amendment to the rules of filibuster for women to wear six-inch stiletto heels (it's about 'decorum,' yunno).

So, yeah...everyone needs to read the reviews.

(1,014 posts)I can just see the person who wrote it dropping the mike and spreading their arms out and slowly backing away. BOOYAH. FREAKING LOVED THAT ONE.
Incidentally, I really want a pair of these shoes now. If they can withstand her filibuster, then by God they can withstand a 12 hour nursing shift. LOL.

(37,364 posts)At age 68, at the feet of Sen Wendy Davis, I found myself in awe of these shoes. The one day that I have worn them has rejuvenated the feeling that I own my personal uterus. I can feel the states of Texas, Virginia, Mississippi, Wisconsin, etc, slowly dropping out of my lady parts. These shoes make me feel lighter and more in control of my body. I highly recommend these shoes to the busybody men who play doctor in the governments of all states and in the federal government, as well. May all of these men wear these shoes with courage and experience the pleasures of their hands rather than imagining the little men fetuses pleasuring them.

(21,691 posts)1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy these shoes, June 26, 2013
By Tom Miller (MN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Mizuno Women's Wave Rider 16 Running Shoe (Apparel)
Even though...
1) I am a man and these are clearly women's shoes
2) I have never gone through the experience of wearing them
3) These shoes are not designed for my feet; and
4) They are of a color I would never wear...
I feel somehow compelled to decide for the shoe's female target market whether or not they should own them.
Don't.
Thank you.

(570 posts)I like this line from one:
"I will put them on my feet when I need to run far. When I am tired, I will ask myself: WWWD?! Then I will keep running. "

and...
"These go perfectly with any back brace you may need after good old fashion filibusting for 9 hours (with 4 more to go). What's that? Your crappy mean spirited colleagues on the other side of the isle say it isn't fair? That's right ladies, this shoe is completely washable, so just shove it up their ass."

(5,819 posts)They're the only running shoes that fit my feet well.
LaydeeBug
(10,291 posts)wide side of normal. But if they are cut narrowly, I would probably need a wide.
Do you like them?
Island Blue
(5,819 posts)The Mizunos that I have aren't cut narrowly. I also have a high arch and I pronate (I have a strange foot). I think the I have the model I have are the Inspires. I like them a lot. Of course now that I know they are most excellent at kicking Republican ass, I like them even more!

These have the dual purpose of being able to withstand a 13 hour filibuster and serve as a rectal probe for the Governer's rear cavity during his special session. I personally inserted a tiny camera at the end so we can all see how full of feces Rick is in case you hadn't already discerned it from the aural examination.
...
Best one, I think:
"You keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'
and you keep losin' when you oughta not bet.
You keep samin' when you oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but you ain't been right yet.
These shoes are made for filibustering, and that's just what they'll do
Test me again and these shoes they're gonna filibuster over you.
You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin
and you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt.
Ha! I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah
and what I know you ain't HAD time to learn.
Are you ready boots...start filibustering..."

(54 posts)of that shoe almost all the time (in more neutral colors), and I stand behind a computer at work all day. Very light and good arch support - I have high arches and very large feet. Due for a new pair soon.

(219 posts)My wife owns a restaurant here in Texas, and she is on her feet 12-18 hours a day.
She swears by Dansko shoes. Since wearing them, no back pain, no fatigue. And they look nice, too!
We are thinking about sending Sen. Davis a pair...

(222 posts)I've worked with a lot of people who swear by them. For me, buy Doc martens. Expensive, but they last forever. They take a month to break in, but once they do, your feet will love them.

(41,990 posts)I thought this would happen as soon as I saw photos of the shoes, but I forgot about the awesome power of the Amazon Review. I hope the GOP is reading and quivering in their boots.
