On my lunch break, I heard a "patriotic commercial" by a mattress manufacturer

concerned about the scope and power of the government.

I found it odd that, during the 2001-2008 existence of the PATRIOT ACT, he kept his mouth shut about the concerns of prying into the lives of U.S. citizens, and only felt comfortable voicing his fear now.

I sent off a note to his corporation expressing MY concerns about HIS sudden concern.

where he went on and on about a bunch of cars that he got from the Canadian branch of manufacturing ...

Oddly enough, the commercial didn't end with his trademark "American - and PROUD OF IT!" like 99.99 percent of his other commercials ended with.
