80,000 cu. ft of debris

have been collected, so far, from the Jersey shores following Sandy. And no one knows what is still down there. This is why some of the beaches are still closed. As reported yesterday on NBC News.

What I wonder is what was done with all the debris. Land fills? In the densely populated New Jersey?

Just wondering.
