with the Bolivian plane's fuel indicator while the plane was still in eastern Europe.
"Sacré Bleu! The Bolivian president's plane has a broken fuel gauge. There is no way to warn her since l'Accadamie Francaise does not allow a Frenchman to speak Bolivian. Perhaps by closing the airspace of a wall of nations going westward we can force the plane down, and a speedy search will discover the life-threatening fuel indicator problem."
Makes sense to me.

Also, um... I'm pretty sure it was the pilot who detected the gauge problem, yes?

(13,081 posts)And admitted to closing their airspace (though Portugal just denied landing rights). And Hollende himself said that France forbade airspace to the plane.
