Freedom of Information a problem? Call the CIA

The bin Laden raid, subject of several books, by participants, a movie, and countless articles on the internet, is too sensitive to discuss. So when the Pentagon was faced with a problem, the Freedom of Information request for all documents regarding the raid, handled the situation as well as they could. Understanding that they could not keep the documents secret, too many books, movies, articles and the like, they did the next best thing. Instead of releasing the documents, they purged them from their own files, and sent them to the CIA which uses FOIA requests as toilet paper.

Records about the Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's hideout were ordered purged from Pentagon computers and sent to the CIA -- a place where they could be more easily shielded from ever being made public.

Well, that sorts out that little problem doesn't it?
