Heavy rain causes washed out roads; flooding damage

Forecasters: Tropical pattern continues all week


GREENVILLE, S.C. —Several Upstate communities experienced flooding and parts of two roads washed away during a slow-moving cluster of thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday night.

A large section of Gerrard Road in Anderson County washed away during the rain.

Emergency officials said rushing water from an overflowing creek caused the road to collapse.

My point is, these people who whine about taxes, don't ever think about when something like this happens, you need tax
money to fix it.
