The verdict can be justified, but it is not just

In isolation, it's difficult to prove a man a murderer when his story the almost only available evidence of what occurred in an isolated altercation between two individuals. What is indisputable fact, however, is that Martin ended up dead because he was black. In a just world, Zimmerman would suffer punishment for his actions.

The verdict cannot be justified.

There is no justice with this verdict.

There is a difference between what is law and what is just.

I don't confuse the two.

If I were on that jury, I would be able to discern law from justice. Fuck that law, implement justice.
