was followed by Zimmerman. They were only to consider the fight. Who threw the first punch. And it was clear that only Zimmerman's word mattered. The only other person who knew the truth was murdered in cold blood.

I can't help but feel that had the roles been reversed, the outcome of the trial would have been much different. They can try to victim-blame Trayvon Martin all they want, but the fact remains he was unarmed and was minding his own business, talking on the phone with a friend. George Zimmerman was the aggressor here. There was never any need for him to confront that young man. He was not a law enforcement officer.
