Late on Saturday, a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. The February killing of the unarmed 17-year-old by a neighborhood watch volunteer hit a nerve across the nation. After the not-guilty verdict came out, musicians shared their reactions on social media and on the stage, ranging from fury and disgust to heartbreak and calls for peace.
During her concert in Nashville, Beyonce called for a moment of silence for Martin, and then sang the chorus of "I Will Always Love You." Shortly after the verdict was returned, Questlove Instagrammed a photo of his own face with the caption "Onstage right now.... pissed."
