Zimmerman's Parents in Hiding from 'Enormous Amount of Death Threats'

George Zimmerman immediately went back into hiding after being acquitted of murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, his parents told Barbara Walters in an exclusive interview with ABC News, adding that they haven't seen him since he left the courthouse.

The Zimmermans said that because of "an enormous amount of death threats," they, too, have remained in hiding and still don't feel safe enough to return to their home in Orlando, Fla.

A part of me feels as though I should be sorry for them to some extent, but I just can't be. They say they have lost everything, but their son is at least still alive. They seem completely insensitive, and I think they should stop talking.

George is live and free. They will be fine. George on the other hand should always be watching his back. Somebody would get a lot of street cred for ending him. He should try the Casey Anthony method.

Maybe they should visit Casey Anthony's parents and see how they are coping with the crazies. But then again, they raised crazies. Oh well, that's the cost of justice I suppose. Perhaps the Zimmerman family should invest in shouldered mirrors when their necks get tired from ALWAYS looking behind themselves. Enjoy! Oh and Welcome Home Son! Now DUCK!

of death threats is pretty creepy as well. and death threats are even more so. I have no doubt that death threats have been made. that's what happens in highly emotionally charged situations like this one.

When one raises and releases a cowardly bigoted child-murdering monster one can expect to receive calls for other avenues towards justice that includes an just call for punishment for the creators of a cowardly child murderer like Zimmerman.
It's called taking responsibility for your actions. Teabaggers are violently adverse to personal responsibility and the truth- But responsibility may be forced onto them up to, and including, experiencing the same sort of death in the family as the Martins have been forced to undergo. True justice is sometimes found only at the hands of the wronged. The Zimmerman family owes a moral debt to American society that may include the unfortunate result of a death or two in the family. It is unfortunate that the right wing has created this type of morally deadly atmosphere, but monsters are sometimes best dealt with by the village people they prey upon.
Still waiting for justice for Treyvon- maybe we will see some justice handed-out to the zimmermans out of this ordeal.

George Zimmerman is "absolutely not" a racist, they said.
"He's never been taught to be a racist," Robert Zimmerman said. "Color is the last thing to come to his mind."
"When George first saw Trayvon Martin he had no idea what color he was," he added. "He knew he was inside a gated community. He didn't recognize him as living there. It was raining. He was just casually walking very slowly. But George did not initial know what race a person was."

That's not what George told the dispatcher.

Ugh.

So GZ is also blind or like Stephen Colbert who doesn't see anyone's color. And "casually walking"? When did that come into evidence. GZ in his call said he was acting suspicious by looking around and he said he was black. Now, I can understand a parent wanting to say the very best for their child, but let's not make it up.

I'd also like to see those death threats. Were they like the "fuck off and die" or "I hope you get ill and die" or "do us all a favor and walk out in front of a bus" type memes..... or more like the "I know where you live, I know where you work, I know where you family lives, and I am coming to get you with my own gun" threats?

Apparently vague made up shit worked in court and they are trying to invoke the same concept in public court.
