I mean totally blotto, frequently, and beat the living crap out of his wife, after tying her up?

Sean Penn was like that.

He was also known for throwing rocks and shooting at paparazzi.

I hope he's mellowed out since then.

He has never impressed me the slightest with his acting.

So that means the only things he has been "famous" for is (1) Being married to Madonna and (2) His political activism.

Neither impresses me in the slightest.

IMO, Madonna would have been fully justified in getting a knife, club or gun and killing Penn.
