CNBC pulls video of Elizabeth Warren smacking down anchor over Glass-Steagall

And where did CNBC pull the video from? They filed a complaint with YouTube and had the video yanked from the Senator’s official YouTube account - but only after it had accumulated over 700,000 views in a matter of days.

Apparently, the buzz over Warren’s appearance got so great, that CNBC anchor Jim Cramer had to try to shoot it down on Twitter (h/t to HuffPo for that point):

Jim Cramer ✔ @jimcramer

There is some weird strain of thought that CNBC got beaten by Senator Warren. I like the senator but she had NO impact. Sorry..
3:54 AM - 17 Jul 2013

Yeah, Elizabeth Warren had so little impact that CNBC filed a complaint against the YouTube account of a United States Senator in order to get the no-impact video pulled.

I had to watch it. First I tried to find it myself on CNBC, which I couldn't. She is happy McCain is with her, and he should be on the Sunday talk shows. And as far as 37 attempts to appeal Obamacare - WTF does that have to do with anything? But but this will get no where - right. Talk like that only gets people more motivated on her side. She does know her stuff.

..for corporate media to squelch Warren they are going to have to shut down Twitter and Facebook. Remember what we the public did for Betty White? We can do the same for Warren. She may say she doesn't the job but can she say but she will change her mind.

they get pissed off and act like children?

They invite Sen. Warren, who is easily light years ahead of them in intelligence and they get surprised when she hands them their own asses.

Those who can't, become tv anchors.

...and pretty soon the MSM will have the power to revise history with a few mouse clicks.

Probably the most damaging thing about the video I noticed when I saw it yesterday was that Senator Warren managed to reduce three pundits to stuttering, twitching idiots (their true form), without raising her voice, without getting angry, and without personally insulting anyone. She came across like a woman who really cares about you and would really like to bake you some cookies.

That is the damaging lesson NBC would like to hide the most: She showed millions of people how to successfully argue without resorting to contesting, confrontation, insults, and violent rhetoric.

She showed millions of people how to argue against them without becoming them.
