Let's make a list: When you vote for a republican, you say okay to:...

I still keep hearing people make comments about "all politicians" and how "it doesn't really matter which party wins", and how "it's normal for republicans & democrats to take turns with the presidency & congress"..etc.

I always tell people that it DOES matter, because that ONE guy from Podunk, ANywhere, USA, COULD be the one vote that switches congress one way of the other, and legislation that flows from that switch could change YOUR life forever, or ruin you financially.

When you vote for a republican, you say okay to:...

rolling back regulation that keeps your food/air/water/soil/medicine/etc. safe..and in the areas of businesses, can mean life & death for you if you live near one

old white men (mostly) being in charge of women's reproductive rights/health care availability

old, angry white men (mostly) deciding which people are worthy of keeping voting rights

......
this is just a start..
please add to the list

Did you know the US government made a $50Billion profit on student loans last year?

We need to adopt Sen Warren's proposal that college students get to borrow at the same rate banks get to borrow from the FED

in my town this fall, I hope it means my taxes will decrease. The current DEM administration is taxing everyone out of town.

BUT sometimes multiple term republican mayors do end up in congress...and become a headache for people later on..

do what you must, but be aware..

and about taxation...

stuff costs money

not even city hall. Our current DEM mayor is one of the "good ole boys", a popular former football coach. He's not going to lose.
But I am voting for the repub as a protest vote.

Also, there's no need for me to pay higher taxes on a car that is a year older. Also, the way they went about raising property taxes was shady. This admin needs to go.
