Trayvon Martin's brother interning in office of Florida congresswoman

The brother of Trayvon Martin, whose shooting death by George Zimmerman gained international attention over the past year, is currently serving as an intern for Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., her office confirmed to NBC News.

(snip)
Martin’s brother Jahvaris Fulton attends Florida International University in Miami, Fla., according to his Twitter page.

Fulton, who testified in the case against Zimmerman, is interning at the Democratic congresswoman’s office in Miami Gardens.

According to Wilson's office, Fulton is also part of the 5000 Roll Models of Excellence Project. The program, founded by Wilson 20 years ago, is a drop-out prevention and mentoring program that addresses needs and issues facing at-risk boys in Miami-Dade schools.

and it galls me to no end when juror B37 said they didn't hear ANYTHING about what kind of person Trayvon was. She must have missed when his brother testified.

she 'wore' both blinders and earplugs when it came to "those people" testifying in defense of Trayvon Martin, imo.

his level tone, his honesty in the face of the questions being asked by the defense, his pain at the loss of his brother. The very fact the defense called both Trayvon Martin's father and brother to the stand was beyond ugly, imo. They could offer nothing of substance to the defense's case that made their appearance an imperative.

Thanks for posting this, it is much appreciated.
