LGBT Minnesotans fueling ‘unprecedented boom’ in wedding business

According to one local news anchor, LGBT Minnesotans are fueling an “unprecedented boom” in the state’s wedding business just two weeks before full legalization takes effect.

That’s how CBS Minnesota’s Susan-Elizabeth Littlefield summed up her conversations with vendors at Sunday’s wedding expo in Minneapolis, all of whom were overwhelmed by the sudden rush of business.

State lawmakers approved marriage equality in May, just months after voters rejected a constitutional amendment that would have banned the state from recognizing same sex couples.

Who would have thought? Just one more way to help the economy.

discrimination is bad for business - how many stupid people in business miss this very obvious point.
