There was also unexplained damage to Saylor's larynx. WTF?

When does this kind of shit have to end? 3 off duty cops versus a 26-year old Downs individual and, surprise surprise, the guy ends up dead. And everyone involved seems to just go on with their lives except the family.

Is anyone in uniform ever accountable ???

I know - sweeping generalization but more and more, it seems like the bad is blue is winning over the good in blue.

there are so many stories of cops getting out of hand. And I can understand the anger about it.

there are so many stories of people not having sufficient training and patience and common sense and common decency to work with people who have disabilities. And I can understand getting angry about that.

And I know that the off-duty rent-a-cops handled this all kinds of wrong and that they killed this kid.

But here's another thing, to me. What kind of raging asshole movie theater manager throws a tizzy and calls in guards to kick a person with Down Syndrome out of the second run of a movie he paid to see the first time anyway? WTF is wrong with that guy. What a supreme dick. Who does that? Seriously. I would love to give that fucker a piece of my mind.

Why is anybody still going to that theatre? Why isn't it out of business? How is that manager not hounded by people telling him what a dick wad he is?

...I'm old enough to remember when every business I went into didn't have their own private security force like this. These rent-a-cops are real cops most of the time and they should have the training to look at that theater manager and say - "Dude, chill out. It's just a movie".

So, I'm just cop-pissed right now and can't see beyond it.

A much better response from the theater manager would have been "Hey - why don't you stay for the next showing. You can sit in one of the 300 empty seats that won't get sold." Capitalism is so rampant in these guys that they would rather throw away the empty seats than let some guy like this use it at no charge. I'm not advocating giving it away free all the time but com'on, what's the point in a situation like this.

Find some f'ing empathy for people for god's sake. As a good friend of mine used to say "it costs you nothing".

Phone number: 301-620-4081
Address: 5243 Buckeystown Pike Frederick, MD 21704

I just called him and gave him a piece of my mind. I told him that I hope people boycott his theatre. He has no decency and no compassion, and no judgement to call the cops on a Downs Syndrome young man who just wanted to see a second showing of a movie he had already paid to see in the first place.

Psssst! DO something!
