All the Dems try to out-Liberal each other. DeBlasio, Thompson, Weiner, Quinn, Liu, etc. ALL claim to be more Liberal than the next. We're a bit lucky. It makes me sympathetic to blue voters in red states where their politicians throw around the word Liberal like a dirty word. Here it is proudly worn like a badge of honor.
