I saw the video in the OP last week, and I was mildly curious what my own kids might say, so when the ad came on during a show on tv last night, I watched my daughter's reaction (without any commentary from me).

I wasn't sure she caught all the dialog, so at the end I told her "she put cheerios on her dad's heart because they're heart healthy." Her only reaction was "aw...that's so sweet!" and "I only like Cheerios with honey."

It didn't even occur to her to notice the racial makeup of the family.
