Recent Polls show 63% of Dems would happily vote for Hillary Clinton. ( http://www.democraticunderground.com/1014547665#top )
I am one of those 63%.
Clinton/Warren 2016. (Now that would make me real happy!)

(149,642 posts)I cannot agree.
Hillary is a DLC'er and cut from the same cloth as her husband. We do not need any more of those policies. We really don't.
And Elizabeth Warren is super bright, but she needs to be in the Senate longer.
We need new people. More liberal people.
Someday, Warren should run, I agree; I just don't think it should be now.

(4,359 posts)I believe our country has a much better chance of being a better place if more women were in charge. Moms. I want a country ruled by moms and grandmas.
I fear Elizabeth Warren has started her political career pretty late in life. I would vote for her if she was 75 but I don't know how many I speak for.
And Miss Peggy, I 100% guarantee you that I will have no qualms of moving my vote from Hillary to a more liberal candidate if one can win me over. And I promise I'll be reading up on everyone single hat that is thrown in to the ring.
It's years away though and I'd like the Republicans know I'm fired up and ready to get out some Democratic votes. I want them scared that the Democrats they keep trying to break apart are already 63% behind a candidate. I want them to see polls that Hillary would kick that NJ gov's ass.
Who do you like that is hinting for the race? I've honestly not heard of anyone else who is really running yet.

(111,285 posts)but if she's the candidate, I'll very reluctantly vote for her.
Allowing a Republican to get in again is unthinkable.

(23,156 posts)three and a half years or so before election day, is simply an indication of name recognition.
If Hillary runs it will once again divide the Democratic Party. She's had her chance. It's over.
It's long past time for people to figure out that there are more than two or three Democrats who could realistically consider running. And as I'm all too fond of pointing out, back in 1991 it was obvious to the most casual observer that George HW Bush was so incredibly popular after that little war in Iraq that there was no way at all any Democrat could possibly win the election in '92, so all the credible candidates dropped out. Shall we walk down Memory Lane and revisit George HW Bush's second term?
What? He didn't have a second term? But, but, but, he was inevitable!
