NEW YORKAnnouncing his decision to remain in the New York City mayoral race, a man whose self-taken cell phone photographs of his penis have been widely circulated and viewed by millions of Americans was reportedly not the most humiliated person standing behind the podium at a press conference yesterday, sources confirmed. These things that I did were wrong and hurtful, said the man who, despite referring to himself online as Carlos Danger and repeatedly sharing images of his genitals on social media sites, was somehow not the most embarrassed person standing within three feet of the bank of microphones and dozens of reporters. I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused. Now its time to move forward. At press time, the individual whose name is now little more than a punch line remained the least ashamed person in his house.?1

(13,069 posts)1. why is he sending photos of his private family matter for everyone to see?
2. why is he standing in front of a podium discussing it for everyone to see?
3. Why is he putting his wife through this very very public private family matter?

(5,917 posts)just because he's up there doesnt mean we have to watch - just b/c he posted pictures doesnt mean he have to look at them - what goes on between he and huma is btween he and huma (huma's all growed now and is responsible for her own actions) none of our business. she knows what she's getting into and decided it's woth it. so everyone butt-out

(13,069 posts)Yes. He can do what he wants. But, by speaking publicly about his "private family matter" HE is making it a public matter.
No one else is making it a public matter. You are correct, what goes on between he and his wife is not our business--unless HE makes it our business.
And, frankly, we can comment on it, and judge him, and judge her because, to quote you: we can do what ever we like...you don't have to read it.

(20,729 posts)dick pictures & sex talk etc., even after being outed for doing it before, speaks to the bad judgment of the man.

(3,891 posts)Reality is too close to the satire, and often surpasses it. How does the Onion continue to push satire when the stuff they post is actually done in a couple years? Or reality takes such a huge leap that there isn't any satire left?
