(you knew there was a but coming) Google, plus so many others, helped the NSA spy on us making a mockery out of any notion of privacy. All of his money and contacts didn't protect him from the same sort of invasion of privacy that the rest of us are up in arms about. He's not above having all of his life, private and otherwise, opened up for display to anyone who wants to take a look.
