And another poor deer bites the dust.

http://www.kansascity.com/925

There have been lots of stories in the paper about the little deer Ella that lives in the cemetary. Her mother was killed and she just stayed on. She was tame. And she showed up for all the weddings and funerals out in the park.

So, of course, some complete asshole shot her. They found her dead right in the park.

This was a touching story and everybody in KC loved to read about Ella. But it's just better for wild animals to remain wild. If they get tame they just get killed by some asshole or by some asshole government official just following the rules.

For wild animals people are not their friends. They need to stay afraid of humans for their own safety.

I think lived out there for a couple of years. For a while there was a dog that stayed with her. But cold weather was coming so they caught the dog and found it a home.

These are really kind people. They sure didn't diserve to have some asshole do this to them.
