Rodeo fans, conservatives back controversial Obama skit

Rodeo fans and conservatives by the thousands rode to the defense of a rodeo clown Tuesday, less than 72 hours after he took part in a controversial weekend skit involving a masked figure of President Barack Obama.

But the passionate support did not overcome the lingering anger over the Saturday skit at the Missouri State Fair.

The president of the group that organized the rodeo — Mark Ficken — resigned Tuesday, blaming the group’s failure to sanction the clown for his behavior.

It marked a third straight day of heated disagreement over the implications of the rodeo stunt.

They used it to drop to their hands and knees and bowed to it like Kali Ma in Temple Of Doom. Like those poor kids in Jesus Camp groveled at the cardboard Bush prop.

To be about poor race relations and guess who they blame?

The only difference between then and now is the hyper-sensitivity and double standard that applies to the first African-American president.

Hyper-sensitivity that was on full display when the apparent Obama supporter who drew attention to the incident, Perry Beam, said it felt “like some kind of Klan rally you’d see on TV,” as reported by the USA Today.

All of which may explain why race relations in America are imploding under President Barack Obama’s tutelage.

Here's the article about the Bush mask. If accurate its from 1994 when Bush was running for Governor of Texas I believe:

They have no leadership, no brains, no testicular intellect...so they go for the most juvenile feel-good tripe. I say let it happen and allow them to keep making their circling of the drain go that much faster. They asked for it by signing on with the rich who doesn't give a monkey's about them. As Ferris Bueller said, "You can't respect somebody who kisses your ass - it just doesn't work."

And now, they're reaping what they've sown. They've had it coming for a long time.
