But it is now called Sports Authority at Mile High.

Also, I gotta point out two facts:

1) This was done after Obama was nominated, and this was his acceptance location, after the DNC convention at the Pepsi Center.
2) Romney attracted flies.

As (Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby) Schostak noted, a planned Romney speech to the Detroit Economic Club on Feb. 24 was moved from a hotel ballroom to Ford Field. The event, he said, “sold out in two hours.”

this is like comparing apples to oranges.

The picture of Barack was taken during the DNC Convention in Denver,
and this was actually his acceptance speech, which always draws the
most attendees, to celebrate his nomination.

The picture of Romney is dealing with a state primary, and is not
a convention.

A better picture for Obama would have been a picture during a primary
stop where the facility was packed. I know there are plenty of those
pictures around.

Granted, Obama is a rock star where Romney has to buy his friends!
Your point is well made.

You don't have to compare it to anything to know it's pathetic. Romney rented a 65,000 seat stadium, his people said it sold out in 2 hours and then 1200 people showed up. That is beyond embarrassing. I mean it's right in the middle of the Michigan campaign and he's spending millions here, he could have bribed a few thousand homeless people with food and drink to at least save himself this humiliation.

Romney is toast in Michigan, he might have bought it for next Tuesday, but he has zero chance of carrying it in November.

Why have a campaign appearance in a football stadium unless you can fill it up? A crowd of 1,200 would have looked huge at the Detroit Marriott -- or just about anywhere else. At Ford Field, it looks like a tiny group.

The epic fail will come when the Democrats 2008 picture is contrasted with Democrats 2012.

Ha ha ha. The joke's on us.

Of course, as I have been told here, repeatedly, by a vocal minority, is that DU is not representative of the real world, and that the things you've listed are only the pet issues of the idealistic and unreasonable Professional Leftists, and do not concern the nation at large.

So if I'm dissatisfied with Obama, I can withhold my vote in protest and it won't matter, 'cause the enthusiasm is so great, and Obama's sure to win. Right?

if it will make you feel better about the direction of our country.....
but know that for certain, you won't be doing this country any favors....

Read this and then determine why you would choose to make your vote or lackthereof,
a punitive one.... http://www.democratsforprogress.com/2011/09/03/we-all-have-a-choice-in-the-2012-election/

Look, if your dissatisfaction is so great with Obama, and if there are many,
as you say....people like you, and the joke's on us, then be prepared
to be dissatisfied way beyond your obvious current incapability to handle
disappointment...because, you see....By the time the Republicans are done with you,
you will be jumping up and down wanting to vote the asshole Republican out of office next election, no matter who happens to be running against him on our side.

But you know what; the damage will have already been done......
and you would be one of the many we can thank for making it happen.

...is that Obama inspired soo many people into believing he was going to represent real change.

I doubt he'd fill that stadium today as he did then.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Now does that mean the answer lies with the crazies on the rightwing? Obviously not.

But to think Obama is the second coming of FDR, hell, for that matter, even on a par with Eisenhower is to fool yourself.

Go into this next election with your eyes wide open.
