(15,189 posts)The dummies they parade out of their party are too stupid to debate.

(37,364 posts)They don't want to debate. And while they are trying to shut avenues down, the public should demand that they speak.
Do that please.
Removing available viewers further alienates them into a corner. Yep, for being on the side of corporations, they have a thing or two to learn about market share. What corporation would prefer to reach fewer homes? Those corporatists truly believe they can run the nation, yet they can't even run a political party. I will give them credit for running extreme "news" providers though.
Soon there will only be an exclusive FOX universe for them to live in.
Those crazy Teabillies can debate in front of their crazy lemmings that will vote for them anyway.

(41,990 posts)Of course it IS a false equivalence on my part. That movie had an audience of 3.

(129,362 posts)Last year's 22-part circus series was a prime-time disaster of repetitive lunacy, punctuated by a few humorous incidents like the John King smackdown.
I suppose Gregory will be upset given how close he is to them!

(31,706 posts)...firstly, the RNC has never sponsored a candidate's debate...most have been done through a third party who is the one who contracts with the television network.
Second...there's no serious candidate who will pass up free airtime on a network that reaches several million people. If Candidate A shows, then the pressure is on Candidate B, C & D to be there as well. This is especially the case if the debate is televised on a local NBC station that reaches into early primary states.
Rheinhold is attempting to be relevant again...and every time he does it, he looks like the ignorant fool he is. This is a lame attempt to cut back on the number of clown car debates in 2016 as he already knows there'll be an ample supply of clowns ready to embarrass...

(41,990 posts)Can you imagine Chris Christie being told "Oh, we're not letting the major politically oriented networks air any of your debates." I would do that at a dead run.
