Organizing for Action, the offshoot of President Obamas campaign committee, is now supporting Republicans a few of them, at least.
OFA has begun demonstrating in favor of Republicans who publicly support a new path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, along with urging them to pressure their colleagues to join them.
On Monday the group dispatched its activists to districts held by several such Republicans: Reps. Jeff Denham (Calif.), Joe Heck (Nev.), Dave Reichert (Wash.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Aaron Schock (Ill.) and Dan Webster (Fla.).
Few House Republicans have publicly expressed support for a path to citizenship, and the GOP-controlled House has opted to press forward with border security bills rather than comprehensive immigration reform that includes a new path to citizenship.

Whoa. It's OK to show support for Republicans when the do something you agree with.
Let's remember that the next time we see an anti-war group like Code Pink expressing limited support for a Republican centered around a particular issue where they happen to agree.

Someone at DU today accused dirty leftists of not doing enough to support Democrats.
Irony maybe?

the vote. I don't know too many democrats or independents that would turn down a vote in support of a path to citizenship, but I'm not going to go around knocking on people's doors telling people what a great guy he is.
