Limited injunction for David Miranda over data seizure

Only partial examination of material seized from a Brazilian man held at Heathrow airport under anti-terror laws can take place, judges have ruled.

David Miranda, the partner of Guardian journalist Glenn Greenwald, has been granted a limited injunction at the High Court.

It prevents the government and police "inspecting, copying or sharing" data seized from him, except for the purposes of national security.

...pretty broad category there, especially when the UK has often demonstrated that their version of national security is ensuring that they don't piss off Washington.

Same BS as on this side of the pond.

ETA saw an another post that the UK is claiming Miranda was carrying "injurious" data. Did they de-crypt it that quickly, and "injurious" means what? Embarrassing?
