Please don't take Santorum's

good advice for almost everything he says, but on this specifically, we shouldn't take the bait. The only point to be made about his comment is that he doesn't mean a word of it. Obama's focus on higher education is 100% conventional, shared by both parties, including Santorum himself:

Edit to add: actually there is a difference, Obama almost always includes trade schools when he talks about higher education, and Santorum doesn't say a word about trade schools. What a snob!
