Romney "issues a statement" RE: this morning's high school shooting in Ohio

MSNBC just showed it, basically how he and his wife send their hearts out to the victims.

There's a glass half empty, glass half full way to look at this.

Glass half empty: Romney's inserting himself into today's top headline.

Glass half full: For whatever reason, he felt compelled to make a "statement."

I'm sure that, in varying degrees, the hearts of Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, John Huntsman, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich...and their spouses..."go out" to the victims.

But Romney made a statement, and I have mixed feelings about it.

He already doesn't care abut the very poor and they unemployed....but the injured and hurting? He cares so much more for them because the reality is that they are not a huge impact for his budgetary item. Maybe caring isn't the right term, more like relief.

He know the President will issue a statement as all Presidents do for these things, but Romeny being more successful than Obama felt the need to be first.

Don't think it was a good idea to make such a statement. Doesn't make him look human/caring but opportunistic instead IMHO.
