"I don't like Mondays"

The Boomtown Rats recorded a memorable song about one of the early famed school shooters (I assume there have always been such, but one of the first in the modern media era), a girl who it was reported told police her reason was "I don't like Mondays."

Question: Are these planned mass-shooting things often on Mondays? It makes sense—someone makes preparations over the week-end and, having decided to act, there's no reason to wait.

(I assume this would be different from other, more directed, school violence which would be liklier to follow something happening at school. Someone does something to someone on Tuesday who then brings a gun to school on Wednesday, etc.)

4. The song is quoting then 16-yr-old Brenda Spencer, who shot at an elementary school in 1979

When asked why she committed the gun attack Spencer replied, "I just did it for the fun of it. I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day. I have to go now. I shot a pig. I think and I want to shoot more. I'm having too much fun." She also said, "I had no reason for it, and it was just a lot of fun," "It was just like shooting ducks in a pond," and, "[The children] looked like a herd of cows standing around; it was really easy pickings."
