I thought about it, but realized I couldn't bring myself to vote for Santorum even as a tactical move. I would never forgive myself if he won the nomination and actually won the election. I know that seems far out, but I have absolutely no faith in the American people right now.

I also have selfish reasons for not voting today. I did that in 2000 in order to mess up W and vote for McCain and I ended up being hounded for months by the Kent County Republican Party--hit up for donations and sending me all sorts of crap. I kept telling them they were barking up the wrong tree, but they kept it up until I got nasty with them. I don't want to go through that again.

Surely he's complained about it loudly, but I can't bear to tune him in anymore.

From polls I've seen it's the Dems that could put wacko Rev. Ricky over the top in Michigan and that would cause the GOP some chaos oh yes indeed.

We did our dirty... er, duty today.

Tonight there will be Manhattans and schadenfreude (and snow and ice --- but not in the Manhattans).
