David Valadao isn’t doing his job. Instead of listening to us and learning about the issues we face and our priorities, he spends his time in Washington looking out for himself.

· He’s had a formal ethics complaint filed against him after he abused his Congressional power to protect his property values. He tried to keep his motives a secret and got his fellow Republican Congressmen to support an amendment to a key transportation bill he pushed without telling them about his personal financial stake.

· While he voted to gut the Farm Bill’s programs that help working families afford nutritious food, he worked to keep the provisions that have paid Valadao and his family over $1 million since 2001.

. He isn’t letting us reach out to him. Even though Congress is out of session for 5 weeks, we here in the valley don’t have any opportunities to meet with our Congressman. He’s ignoring one of the most fundamental parts of his job: to hear our concerns and take them to Washington.
