However it seems like some have completely gone over the edge lately. It's seems more like a right wing hate fest that's going on against any democrat that does not "totally" agree with the way these people think. The not only attack anyone posters who actually support the president, even if they don't support bombing Syria, but they are going after people like Kerry, Howard Dean, and I am sure that if Bernie sanders or Elizabeth Warren decide to back the president, they will go after them also!

It's simply insane if you ask me!

But I'd suggest not starting an op specifically on his rather odd looks these days if you are not happy about discussions about his very odd looks. The other discussion, on the shit that came out of his mouth, isn't going very well for the authoritarian camp either, so perhaps discussing what the fuck is going on with his face is a good diversion for you?

Had you stuck to "the issue is stupid" you would have had a valid point, but you couldn't. You couldn't leave it there. You sabotaged your own op by claiming "nothing to see here". Now its all about how odd he looks, exactly what you allegedly thought shouldn't be discussed.

Sorry, my friend. I cannot go there with you. Maybe he's gained a few pounds.

So how is this relevant to the discussion at all? It comes off as an attempt to poison the well.

How Kerry looks just isn't important.

I would hope that you would see that.

In your desperate attempt to defend this clusterfuck you are now comparing posters who oppose it as shallow petulant people mocking Kerry's looks.

You are ignoring the bankruptcy of the decision you must defend.

BTW, there is another term for circular argument but it's usually when the participants agree.

Their looks become part of "the package".. It's ALL product-placement.. the looks, the mannerisms, the message.

When a person's looks change dramatically, it would be odd if people did NOT notice.
