How come 'WMDs' are only a threat to the United States?

Is there some kind of Magic WMD magnet floating in the atmosphere above the United State?

Everytime North Korea throws a little temper tantrum, it seems that their missiles are only a threat to the United States.

And now Syria's Chemical Weapons are only capable of harming the United States

Everyone else seems to be immuned to these grave threats

I'll bet it's because it's only the United States that is bombing all around the world, supporting coups, assassinating world political figures, causing worldwide economic crises, and generally acting like an ass.
