How divided are people on Syria?

Personally, I think there are good reasons for a limited military engagement, but I haven't decided if we've reached the point, and I accept that there are rational arguments against action.

I believe there\'s no good reason for military action, and I can\'t respect anyone who thinks differently

This doesn't mean that if the U.N were behind it, if their were a world outcry, that we should refuse to get involved.
By acting alone we are likely to do more harm than good.
This limited slap on the wrist will do no good at all. Tell me how it can.

Their may/will come a time when the U.N requests intervention, when their is a world outcry.
It will be in times like that where the U.S can lead, not just militarily but as an example.

Until then, we should stay home and solve our own problems.
