Un-bunching my panties slightly, given this Obama quote: "no imminent, direct threat"

""I put it before Congress because I could not honestly claim that the threat posed by Assad's use of chemical weapons on innocent civilians and women and children posed an imminent, direct threat to the United States," he said in his remarks at the end of the summit."

Obama cannot say this and then disregard a no vote, if I understand your war powers act.

And I expect him to say as much in his speech Tuesday evening. He will abide by the vote of the Congress. They are the voice of the people.
