So what's this about million Muslim March I keep hearing about on FB?

Could not find anything saying it is untrue. Bikers denied a permit, but are going anyway.

Report: DC denies permit for 9/11 bikers; Planners move ahead anyway

In response to the planned “Million Muslim March” in Washington, D.C., on 9/11, bikers announced their own rival 2 Million Biker Ride. This weekend, news surfaced on blogs and Twitter that D.C. had denied the bikers an event permit.

It sounds more like Fred Phelps' clan, i.e. a dozen misfits, rather than a mass movement.

...if I had to guess I'd say logistics. When did they apply for the permit? Asking for a 'no-stop' ride through DC could be a logistical nightmare without plenty of time to plan reroutes and detours as well as security. I highly doubt the denial was as nefarious as many have made it out to be. On the other hand, having a 'million' bikers riding through town just to counter the Million Muslim March isn't helping extend any olive branches.

This is coming from a former 'biker chick' with a son and many, many friends that ride.

And his sites MuslimsFor911Truth and TruthJihad, and his group AMPAC.

Barret is a noted anti-Semite, FYI.

I would love to put a link on FB that discredits this, if there is such a link. I did not hear about this anywhere else but FB, and I guess I am finding of who my righties are.

Been listening to a biker friend...supposedly 2 million bikers are going to be in D.C. to keep the million Muslim march...I dunno really what they plan to do but I've seen pictures of the bikers and I dunno about millions but it does look like tens of thousands.

Could turn into a bad climate fast imo.

Probably planned part of their route directly through the other event in order to disrupt it.
