I could have told that to anyone 10 years ago! For a long time, I don't know if it's still the case, when you bought a "super cheap" domain from them, you never actually got to own it--they kept the rights to it at the administrative level. It might have changed since then, but they've never been on the level from the start.

And they were the first ones to endorse SOPA, before they were forced to take back their endorsement after many, many of their clients got pissed at them.

Par for the course. Most people (ten years and longer ago) didn't know what a "domain" even was, so they were able to get away with their antics.
