I had close to $1500 in cash, my rent plus the cash for the month ( landlord at the time wanted only cash ).
I didn't realize I was missing the wallet until I got home. Understandably I was very upset and crying. About 20 minutes later, I hear a knock on my door. I look through the peep hole and saw a man I didn't recognize. I didn't open, ans went back in the kitchen. Few seconds later the knocks commenced and I heard: do you want your wallet back or not? ( spoken with a heavy accent). I rushed to the door, opened it, and the stranger handed me my wallet with all the cash ( and credit card/id) inside!!!
I couldn't believe it!!! I thought I was dreaming! He briefly explained that he found me by my DL address!!
I tried to give him a few hundred dollars but he rushed down the stairs, and only said: be more careful with your wallet!

I didn't really believed in miracles before, but I surely did after. They do exist, and honest, amazing people exist too!

At one backyard evening get-together the rich guys were showing off their boots. Alligator, ostrich, snakeskin etc.
Later, while I was picking up beer cans in the dark< I found a large roll of bills that had fallen out of one guys boot.
I returned the 5 G's to the rightful owner--my reward--two tickets to see Stevie Ray Vaughn and a bit of marching powder to go with it.
