Let's bug the Maryland legislature into passing its universal health care bill

Like most states, Maryland is always trying, year by year, to close a budget gap. This year, the Maryland legislature's solution is to shift the cost of pensions onto the counties, who are already broke. But a few days ago, an economic impact study was released by a Massachusetts economist, detailing how passage of Maryland's single-payer bill, the Maryland Health Security Act, would save $1.5 billion ($500 million for the state, $1 billion for the counties), create 70,000 new jobs, and increase average net income by 7%. The MHSA has died in committee in Maryland for the last 6 years, so it's never even been brought up for a floor vote. BTW, the Maryland legislature is 70% democratic.
I think it would help Maryland lawmakers figure out that this really would save money if people would start sending them these fake checks. They're made out from the Maryland Health Security Act to the State of Maryland, in the amount of "70,000 new jobs, a 7% increase in average income, and 1.5 billion dollars". The idea is that they could cash these checks by passing the MHSA.
The committees in which the MHSA has died for the past 6 years:
House Health & Government Operations Committee
Senate Finance Committee
