Jury finds ex-Orlando cop not guilty of rape

Roderick Johnson, the since-retired Orlando police officer accused of coercing an arrested woman into having sex inside a police substation last year, was found not guilty of sexual battery Wednesday night.

Tears flowing down his face, the former Orlando Police Department veteran left the courtroom a free man after his acquittal, declining to comment for waiting reporters.

The six-member jury needed less than two hours to reach the verdict, which came on the trial's third day.

Jurors began their deliberations about 5 p.m. with two questions to consider: Did Johnson have sex in a police substation with a woman he arrested on Oct. 16, 2012? And, if so, was that sex consensual?

Well, Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman were acquitted in Florida. So why not a police officer/pig accused of rape...as long as the victim is an "undeserving criminal"? Sigh.
