George Zimmerman pulled over in Brevard County last month

George Zimmerman, the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, was pulled over in Brevard County last month, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.

According to FHP spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes, Zimmerman was stopped Aug. 19 "for window tint that was too dark, as well as a tag cover that was placed over his tag," and was issued a warning but not ticketed.

The warning paperwork indicates that the stop occurred about 11 a.m. on at mile marker 208 on southbound Interstate 95.

Zimmerman, who had been charged with second-degree murder, was acquitted at trial in July. The verdict sparked outrage among those who believe he profiled Trayvon, an unarmed black Miami Gardens teen.

(and I am one that tries very very hard never to wish true ill on others--really), I hope it ends soon. That might include him getting help, but more likely his arrogance will lead to something more punitive, costly, or deadly.

Shellie Zimmerman said she did not press charges because she said police told her she and her husband would each go to jail but she would likely stay there after pleading guilty to perjury related to George Zimmerman’s murder case.

Shellie Zimmerman is still serving a year of probation for making false statements to a judge about the couple’s finances during a bond hearing for her husband.

She said she’s developed doubts about what happened when her husband shot the unarmed teen in February 2012.

6. I think she's ambivalent about how she feels about what happened with Trayvon.

She was currently interviewed and she said she did not believe Zimmerman profiled him. But, I've learned one thing about judging opinions. You have to pay attention to the pressing variables in a person's life to look for factors that might influence them. Right now she wants Zimmerman to come out of hiding and sign those divorce papers. She won't be able to do that unless she appears less hostile to him.

What she says AFTER Zimmerman signs those papers may be how she truly feels.

I found it amazing that she couldn't press charges because it would land her in jail for a longer time than Zimmerman.

Is this the 3rd time since his acquittal that he's gotten pulled over (speeding just outside of Terrell, TX, another speeding stop in Florida, and now this)?

Being pulled over 3 times in four months seems a bit excessive for a law-abiding young gentleman of such sweet disposition.
