Rep King: Cruz Supporters Making 'Vile, Obscene' Phone Calls

Rep King: Cruz Supporters Making 'Vile, Obscene' Phone Calls

by Ashley Killough at CNN

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/09/26/rep-king-cruz-supporters-making-vile-obscene-phone-calls/

"SNIP.........................

Washington (CNN) – Rep. Peter King, who called fellow Republican Ted Cruz a 'fraud,' said his office is now receiving threatening phone calls from people who say they're supporters of the Texas senator.

"You can't always blame a person if his followers act in a terrible way," King said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer." However, he expressed concern about the "vile, obscene" phone calls.

"I have young women, women interns, full-timers, in their late teens, early 20s, and they get these phone calls," he continued. He did not elaborate on how many calls were received.

Is starting to become the main component of the party, thanks in large part to Fox, Drudge, and Rush Limbaugh.

On a scale of 1 to 10, their intensity level and hatred for all other views is about at 47.

President Reagan is rolling in his grave right about now. He was a big right-winger, but not nearly with the level of vitriol towards others.

See how it feels, fella. That sort of behavior has been par for right-wingers for years, and guys like you have sat back and watched the $h1t-monkeys go play without so much as a mild word of reproach. And now the $h!t-monkeys are at play on your phone lines and your interns are in the line of fire.

I may have a little sympathy for your young interns, but I don't have any for you. These are your so-called "values" in practice.

Enjoy, Mr King. Savor what you created to the fullest measure.

As I said, I have a little sympathy for the interns who have been getting an earful or three of the extreme right's $h!t-monkey brigade in action.

If, as you say, these lasses are privileged, I suspect many were quite sheltered. I doubt that many of them ever thought their fellow righties could behave so badly and in such an un-G*dly fashion, even after they went off to Comfortable U. And pledged their sororities and started attending classes. The few and scattered reports of such un Godly behavior they may have heard of, they probably dismissed as "liberal propaganda" until a couple of days ago.

Some of Rep King's interns may be of age. That doesn't mean they think and reason like adults.

This experience might be good for their getting of wisdom.

??????????

OH YES YOU CAN!!!! Monkey see, monkey do. They're acting out because they see that fucker ted cruz acting out and being rewarded with attention, publicity, a monopolization of the airwaves, and lots of money flowing in from koch and company. If cruz were any sort of man, who truly and genuinely cared about America - and Americans in need, he would behave as an adult instead of a spoiled snot-nosed tantrum-throwing five-year-old, and turn to his followers and at least ask them flat-out to behave themselves - because they're making his whole movement (frankly, more like a bowel movement) look bad. And it's significant that he does nothing about that. Obviously, from his behavior, one can conclude that he approves of what they're doing. After all, he's doing nothing whatsoever to discourage it.
