It was truly one of the strangest 15 minutes of video I have ever seen in my life. Gohmert is not sane.

(1,370 posts)Shirley McKeller has filed against him. She is a smart, attractive AfroAmerican with a Doctorate. I understand he usually runs unopposed so he gets elected. Tyler Texas area has a large minority population with nobody on the ballot to vote for so maybe they will turn out for her and the President and we can get rid of Gomert once and for all. I wrote a check to her campaign last night.

(33,956 posts)truly. I went to a college graduation where he was downright disrespectful of the US Government and basically calling the graduates to overthrow the government (this was right after Obama was elected) and "take THEIR government" back. It was really offensive.

Gohmert-Pyle is the biggest argument in favor of mandatory IQ tests for politicians!
And why is it that all the truly legendary intellects are Republicans? Gohmert-Pyle? Dan Quayle? Sarah Palin? W? Did we ever get someone this stupid elected?

I am unfortunately represented (Not represented at all, actually) by Joe Barton. The guy who apologized to British Petroleum for having hearings.
He represents oil companies, not people.
